Why don't you list all of your products online?

To keep our store interesting to our many customers who visit us every week, we are constantly changing our inventory.  If you would like us to sell something online, please contact us with your suggestion. Email

How long have you been in operation?

We purchased and took over operation of the store on July 24, 1999 and changed the name to Things Made Wonderful.  Prior to that, Things Made Wonderful was a dealer in the store (formerly Crafty Expressions).  The former owners ran the store in the Scituate location for 5 years prior to us taking over.  We have been running online businesses since the fall if 1998.  We relocated to our present location in the spring of 2007.

Is my personal information safe with you?

By all means, we hate SPAM too!  We will never provide ANY of the information you provide to us to another party.  Your information is strictly used by us to process your orders and send information you have requested.  We won't bombard you with constant emails with offers that you are not interested in.  All order information is kept on secure servers.  We do not store credit card data.  You can view our Privacy Statement here.

How soon will I receive my order?

We make every attempt to ship your order the same day your payment has cleared.  Late orders are shipped the next business day.  Many of our customers are surprised at how quickly the get their packages.

What is your return policy?

We insist on 100% customer satisfaction.  If for any reason you are not happy with your order, contact us for return information.  We will refund your purchase price in full, less shipping.

What type of payments do you accept?

We take Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express online, by fax, telephone or mail.  We also accept checks and money orders by mail (the shopping cart will allow you to print an order form).  We also accept PayPal payments online.

How much do you charge for shipping?

Our shipping fees are based on actual shipping charges we pay to ship your package and will vary depending on the package weight and destination.  You can place items into your shopping cart and have a chance to view the shipping charges before your order is processed.  Often, we charge less for shipping than what the cart actually calculates!

How do you package items for shipping?

Very carefully!  Breakable items are double boxed and well padded, all items are sealed against moisture.  It is extremely rare for one of our packages to arrive with damaged merchandise.  In the unlikely event that this did happen to you, contact information is provided with the shipment so you can notify us for a replacement to be sent at no cost to you.

Is your store accessible by persons with disabilities?

For the most part, yes.  This was a major consideration when we designed the layout of the new TMW.  Keeping in mind that we were working with an existing building, we did everything we could to make it as easy as possible for people to get around.  A ramp was reconstructed, leading to the main entrance and is close to a reserved parking space.  The bathroom was revamped to be ADA compliant.  The isles and sales areas are planed with accessibility in mind.  Although we do not have an elevator or lift for the second floor, we hope to be able to provide this service in the future.
